ISRAEL FOOLING INDIAN STATES WITH ITS TOXIC VEGETABLES AND WATER CRISIS

Israel regularly invites Indian politicians and bureaucrats to study its “agricultural techniques” and “collaborate in agriculture” and discuss ‘Water Management” tactics

The Jewish state knows India is a federal state and politically power is now moving from the Center to the states especially the large ones . The bait most commonly used to get close to the CMs and invite them to Israel is inviting them to view Israels “Modern agricultural techniques” Water Management” and “drip Irrigation” .Once the CMs make that trip to Israel there will be many “inducements ” for them ranging from the usual honey traps to large bundles of cash The problem is the three reasons most commonly used to get the CMs to visit Israel are based on lies and more lies

WATER MANAGEMENT ……………TINY ISRAEL HAS WATER CRISIS OF ITS OWN HOW CAN IT TEACH HUGE INDIA ANYTHING?

Israel has suffered from a chronic water shortage for years. In recent years however, the situation has developed into a crisis so severe that it is feared that by the next summer it may be difficult to adequately supply municipal and household water requirements. The current cumulative deficit in Israel’s renewable water resources amounts to approximately 2 billion cubic meters , an amount equal to the annual consumption of the State. The deficit has also lead to the qualitative deterioration of potable aquifer water resources that have, in part, become either of brackish quality or otherwise become polluted. The causes of the crisis are both natural and man-made . Israel has suffered from four consecutive years of drought. The increase in demand for water for domestic uses, caused by population growth and the rising standard of living, together with the need to supply water pursuant to international undertakings have led to over-utilization of its renewable water sources.

The policy for the water sector, particularly in the past decade, combined with the absence of adequate action facing the impending water shortage situation , has contributed to the severity of the present crisis. The agricultural sector has suffered most because of the crisis. Due to the shortage, water allocations to the sector had to be reduced drastically causing a reduction in the agricultural productivity. Source Israel’s Chronic Water Problem

AGRICULTURAL SECTOR……….ISRAEL STILL NET FOOD  IMPORTER AND ITS FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ARE ACTUALLY TOXIC

Israel is a net importer  of foodstuff That incudes Vegetables & Fruits too So despite all the tom tomming of its incredible fruits and vegetables it doesnt produce enough to feed its own people

According to a Central Bureau of Statistics survey of agricultural practices from 2008 to 2010,Israel used more pesticides than any other country in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), a forum of 34 mostly Western nations. The figures suggest that fruit and vegetables in Israel may be among the most toxic of any Western country.Source

So Israel imports Foodgrains and the fruits and vegetables it produces are the most toxic in the world Is that what it wants to “teach” Indian farmers ? To produce toxic fruits and vegetables?

WATER IRRIGATION ………..SHEER MADNESS TO TRY AND REPLICATE TINY ISRAELS IRRIGATION METHODS IN INDIA

Several critics, , question the wisdom of introducing Israeli water-saving technology, citing regional variations, finance and the loss of traditional Indian systems as factors.
Indian consultancy firms are piqued. Says R Rajappa, chairperson-cum-managing director of Water and Power Consultancy Services Ltd (WAPCOS), “We have the requisite experience in India, rooted in the local context. They do not have relevant experience in canal irrigation of the magnitude present in Rajasthan, nor can conditions in Israel and Rajasthan be equated.”

Arjun Singh Kapoor , IGNP board chairperson, says that Israeli type covered channels would be difficult to replicate in India: ” The 659 km-long main canal for IGNP is already complete and is an open channel. We cannot change that.

To adopt the Israeli method, an additional Rs 40,000 per ha would be required for the system, along with the Rs 25,000 it costs now. We are finding it difficult to get money — Rs 1,100 crore — for the project as it is.” Plus, the area to be brought under irrigation in IGNP is 17 lakh ha, as against barely 20,000 ha in Israel. In short just one state in India Rajasthan has nearly 100 times the irrigable land then Israel The sheer size of India means its crazy to even try and replicate Israeli methods here
