Outbrain is an advertising site. It claims it uses behavioral targeting to recommend articles, slideshows, blog posts, photos or videos to a reader, rather than relying on a more basic “related items” widget. The sites with the recommended articles pay Outbrain for this service, and Outbrain pays the site on which the links appear.

Outbrain claims to be installed on more than 35,000 websites, and that it serves over 150 billion recommendations and 15 billion page views per month . Outbrain claims its recommendations reach over 87% of US Internet users.

Outbrain first marketed its content discovery platform in 2006. It was founded by Yaron Galai, who sold his company Quigo to AOL in 2007 for $363 million, and Ori Lahav, previously of, acquired by eBay in 2005. The company is headquartered in New York with 13 global offices in London, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Paris, Munich, Milan, Madrid, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, Singapore, and Sydney.

Outbrain is arguably the world’s most successful content recommendation engine , with over 500 million users and partnerships with publishers like Le Monde, The Telegraph, ABC, ESPN, Fox News and CNN. The company has raised more than $100 million in five funding rounds and today employs over 450 people. Lahav and Galai, who founded the company in 2007, both served in the Israeli navy . Ori was a ship commander and Yaron was an arms officer on a missile boat.

Taboola is a content discovery platform that provides publishers the option to display content recommendations in three ways – with content discovery widgets, in-stream Native Ads or a hybrid, displaying articles, videos, slideshows and other content, both from within the site and from other advertisers and publishers. Its closest competitor is Outbrain.Clients incl ude MSN,BBC, USA Today, Ziff Davis, Allure Media, and the Boston Globe.

Adam Singolda was born in Israel, just south of Tel Aviv and is 32 now. My family is still in Israel and they have split origins between Morocco and Europe. He  joined the Israeli Army but  “did it a bit different than most”. In Israel, everyone has to go through the Army for 2 or 3 years. He was there for close to 7 years and worked for a unit that was in charge of protecting Israel’s information using encryption (Probably Unit 8200) Source  In other words Adam Singolda worked for Israeli Military Intelligence

Both Taboola and OutBrain use behavioral targeting When a consumer visits a web site, the pages they visit, the amount of time they view each page, the links they click on, the searches they make, and the things that they interact with, allow sites to collect that data, and other factors, to create a ‘profile‘ that links to that visitor’s web browser. As a result, site publishers can use this data to create defined audience segments based upon visitors that have similar profiles.

When you click on a link put out by Taboola or Outbrain you are not just giving two Israeli Intelligence linked units money you are also entering into some database which links your id with stories or links or a particular type

And that database in all probability is available to Israeli Intelligence  The only other similar marketing company is Google AdSense Owned by you know whom
